Passion Week: Sunday

The end of passion week is the beginning a new week, a new hope, and a new chapter.
Jesus who was crucified, dead, and buried, had risen from the grave; just as He said He would.
Jesus had told the disciples several times what would happen and they missed what He was telling them. Because of this thy were afraid, confused, and discouraged.
There really was no reason for them to be, if they had only listened to what Jesus had been saying.
But God his grace, sent messengers to tell his followers again and show them the evidence until it began to sink in.
His resurrection from the dead proved that His sacrifice for sin had been accepted, and proved His victory of Death, the Grave, and Sin.
It means the sure hope for us as Jesus is the first born of the resurrection and He offers resurrection to all that believe in Him.
Eternal life is a reality all those that have repented and out their faith in Christ as their only hope for salvation.
Yet the story of the resurrection also reminds us that we often look in the wrong places for the blessings God has for us.
The followers of Jesus were looking in a graveyard when they should have been heading to Galilee!
We often turn to the wrong people and practices to find hope and help, when we aught to be turning to the one who has the power to promise a real hope…Jesus Christ.
Hope was found because the grave was empty.
Life was found because the grave was empty.
A New Day was made clear because the grave was empty.
A New Life is possible for you with a new forever home in Heaven, because the grave is empty.
Oh turn to the one who left the grave empty so that you can have a new life and new relationship with him today!
