Psalm 83:1

For the believer in Christ, we are promised in the God's Word that God will never leave us or abandon us. Yet, there are times it seems that God goes becomes silent in our lives.

More often than not it is because we are not truly listening, or we are allowing the roaring cares of this world to drown out the still quiet whisper of the Lord.

But if God is truly silent, what is our response? What is my response?

Oh that when I notice the silent presence of God, and do not hear His voice, that I would cry out to God to speak! That I would beg God to move in my life and no longer be still!

Sometimes what we need more than anything else is life is for God to shake us up from the inside.
