II Chronicles 9:30-31

The Bible says that King Solomon was the wisest and richest man to have ever lived. Yet, two things stand out to me above all others from the life of Solomon;

1. Despite all of his wisdom, power, fame, and riches, Solomon concluded that life was meaningless and empty. (Book of Ecclesiastes)

2. Despite all of his wealth, power, fame, and riches, Solomon still died.

We can have it all in life, but without God it is all meaningless. Without Christ and salvation, then end of life is the just as absolute.

The things we can have in this life are nothing compared the prize of Christ and eternal life through Him!
