It's a Wrap: Regarding God's Calling

Exodus 3:1-10

  1. God Provides and Preserves the Called - God provides miracles of protection, provision, and preparation for those He has called for his purposes according to His will.

  2. God's Call Involves God's Timing - God is always on time, but seldom is he on our time. No matter how desperate or panicked we may be, God has it all in control. When it seems God has not answered, we can rest assured God is at work. We must remain ready to answer His call!

  3. God Calls Flawed People - Many times we are convinced that God can or will not use us because we are damaged, broken, hurting, or hindered. But God uses the foolish things and people of this world to confound the wise.

  4. God's Call is not Dependent on Those to Whom We are Called - We are called to minister to those who will not believe and those who will not listen. We are not called only to those who we would choose, but rather to all whom we are sent.

  5. God's Call is not Dependent on Our Ability to Answer the Call - We often make excuses of not feeling qualified, not being worthy, or not being the right person for the job. God does not call the qualified, rather He equips and enables the called. To that He calls us to, He will see us through.
