A Summary of Sunday's Sermon from Mark 6:45-52
Perspective Matters - How we view life, whether as happenstance with no control, or Sovereign plan with God in complete control, matters.
A Proper Perspective - Choosing to live with the faith that God is in complete control allows us to view life as a series of God ordained miracles, and not as a chaotic series of turbulent storms and hardships. God never is taken by surprise, and never makes mistakes. There are 3 Keys to a proper perspective and viewing life as God views it.
Don't Miss What God is Doing - Just because we don't see it, don't realize it, or don't understand it, does not mean that God is not in complete control, is not at work, or is late. God is working, and the answer to the issue will be revealed in His perfect timing.
Keep Your Eyes on Jesus - Peter Sank when he saw the wind and the waves (John 6) and the disciples were at a loss when they looked to themselves for answers. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and the distractions will only be a blur.
Make Sure Jesus is in Your Boat - Jesus walked beside us, desiring to be invited into our lives. When Jesus is in our life and we trust His control, we will always be exactly where we need to be, no matter what else is going on around us.
Proper Perspective Changes everything - It will change the way you view the circumstances of life, how you live life, and how you view God!
