Christian, be encouraged, and don’t be afraid!

It is easy to fall into the devil’s snare of believing that the wickedness and evil are winning in this world. Certainly, as we look around at an increasingly secular worldview, it is easy to believe the lie.

Governments and political leaders in many ways are becoming increasingly hostile to a biblical worldview.

Seemingly, the majority of Hollywood and societal elites mock and rebuke Biblical Christianity.

In Psalm 2:1-3 we read a that the lost world will rage and plot against the Lord, they seek to free themselves from what they consider the restraints of Biblical Christianity.

But, dear Christian, remember that what are eyes see are limited to this physical world.

While we see what is taking place in the physical world around us, our eyes cannot see what is taking place in the Heaven and the throne room of God.

Psalm 2:4 says:

“He who sits in the heavens laughs: the LORD holds them in derision.”

In other words, the plans fo the wicked do not shake our God in any way. There is a day of reckoning coming for all who reject Jesus. They may resist Him and His will now, but it will not change the outcome or the plans of the Lord.

Take heart Christian, be encouraged that the victory has already been won. Pray for those that are currently resisting the our God in heaven. That their hearts maybe softened and turned to Him.

Pray for those that are impacted by the un-godly decisions of the leaders in power today.

Pray that we may be bold and courageous in standing for what is right and defending the poor and meek of the earth.

Pray that God would use you in being the hands, feet, and voice of the Lord to speak truth and aid the helpless.

Praise God for His goodness and grace. Worship Him for He is worthy.

And celebrate, for through Christ, we like Christ and by Christ will overcome the world.
